My Story
Hi, I’m Alexia — a qualified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner with a passion for women’s hormonal health, and a special interest in PCOS, fertility (including male fertility), and the menopause transition.
I hold a Graduate Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London, graduating with distinction after three years of study and clinical practice. I am registered with BANT (UK) and am currently in my final year of a BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Portsmouth via the Institute of Optimum Nutrition (ION, UK). I take an evidence-based approach, informed by functional medicine and naturopathic principles. This means I draw on the latest nutritional science while taking a whole-person view — considering how diet, lifestyle, and environment work together to influence your health. My aim is always to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and support to make informed choices and take ownership of your wellbeing.
My journey into Nutritional Therapy began far from the world of health. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree and spent years working in marketing and banking. But when I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility, my life took a different path. I faced endless tests and unanswered questions, and no one could explain why I wasn’t conceiving. That’s when I decided to take ownership of my health and fertility.
I returned to education, studying Sciences and Nutritional Therapy, determined to understand my body. Through research and testing, I discovered I had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) , despite having regular periods and ovulating, as well as a predisposition to autoimmunity, which made it difficult to sustain a pregnancy.
Fertility is complex and rarely due to a single factor. I work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including medical specialists and other health professionals, and I’ve also experienced the transformative impact of nutrition and lifestyle first-hand. These changes played a vital role in supporting me on my path to a healthy pregnancy and the birth of my miracle daughter.
Through my own experience, I came to understand that PCOS is rarely straightforward. Many of my clients also live with challenges such as IBS, thyroid imbalances, elevated cholesterol, autoimmunity, anxiety, or metabolic concerns, alongside hormonal issues like fibroids and endometriosis. These overlapping conditions often affect energy, sleep, and stress resilience - which is why I aim to identify the root causes and drivers behind your health concerns and create strategies that address the whole picture.
At the heart of my practice is compassion. Through my own lived experience of fertility struggles, I understand how overwhelming and isolating the journey can feel. This insight drives my commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space — where you feel genuinely cared for, listened to, and empowered with knowledge to navigate your path with clarity and confidence.
Importantly, fertility care isn’t just for women — I support male clients in improving sperm quality, hormone balance, and lifestyle factors that may impact conception. Supporting both partners can make a significant difference in outcomes.
While fertility remains a strong focus in my practice, I also support women through the perimenopause and menopause transition. As I am navigating perimenopause myself, I know how disorienting it can be — especially when there’s so little accessible information about what’s happening in our bodies. Many women feel unprepared for this phase, unsure of what’s normal and what they can do to feel better. My goal is to change that. I help women make sense of their symptoms, understand the hormonal shifts at play, and feel confident about the steps they can take — so they can move into the next chapter of life feeling strong, supported, and in control of their health.
I offer face-to-face consultations as well as online appointments, making support accessible wherever you are.
